Freight Inspection Checklist
TitanX machines ship via LTL freight (often XPO Logistics). Follow these steps at delivery to protect your shipment and ensure quick resolution if anything is wrong.
-
Inspect before signing: check pallet, crate, bands, and packaging for dents, tears, crushed corners, or punctures.
-
Take photos: capture the pallet from multiple angles, plus close-ups of any damage before acceptance.
-
Note it on the delivery receipt (BOL): write “DAMAGED” and describe the issue (e.g., “crate puncture,” “corner crushed”).
-
Don’t sign “received in good condition” if there is visible damage. This can limit carrier claim options.
-
Report within 48 hours: email photos and a short description so we can assist quickly with next steps.
